幾乎所有人都回答過“你今年多大了”這個問題。
但有時候我們不想說整數(shù)，
而是說我今年三十多歲了，
那這個三十多歲用英語怎么說呢？
01. “30多歲”英語怎么說？
先重新認識這個單詞，something[?s?mθ??]代詞
(表示不確切的描述或數(shù)量)大致，左右。
除了某些事情這一含義，something還表示差不多。
在數(shù)詞后面加上something就是一個大概的數(shù)字。
正確表達：thirty something=三十多歲
三十多歲了的英文就是thirty something，years old可以省略。
他三十多歲了可以說he is thirty something，
也可以翻譯成：he is thirty something years old。
30多個人就是thirty something people，
所以100多美元應該翻譯成one hundred something dollars。

03. 詢問年齡不只是how old are you
年齡屬于個人隱私，
所以我們詢問別人年齡時的語氣一定要委婉，
避免冒犯到人。how old are you這個問法很直接，
老師教給大家一些更禮貌友善的表達。

Would you mind telling me your age？
你介意告訴我你的年齡嗎？
May I know your age?
我可以知道你的年齡嗎?
04. hundreds of 好幾百
生活中我們也經(jīng)常提到幾百幾千，
用英語說也非常簡單。
一百是one hundred，
好幾百的英文就是hundreds of。
同理，好幾千就是thousands of。
